Landscapes in Frit with Fred Buxton

In this workshop, students will explore the process and techniques used to create a multi-layer fused glass landscape that both has depth and a painterly quality.
Fred will cover overall design, planning, layout, color selection, construction and firing schedules. Each aspect of the landscape will be discussed (such as skies, mountains, trees, etc.) and options for achieving them in glass will be explored.
Over the course of five days, students will make separate components and layers that will then be integrated into a final fused glass landscape panel.
All glass and materials are included. Either bring lunch, or we will order out and pick up for you!
