Red Amber Tint Transparent (1857) 3mm
Contains sulfur and may react to copper bearing glasses. Red Amber Tint is a striking glass. Striking glasses are those which, when in their cold state, do not display their target color. They must be fired and held at 1225 degrees for a period of time before reaching that target color. This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters. Slight reactive potential to lead bearing glass.
Sheet sizes are:
1/2 Sheet - 20" x 17 1/2"
