Oval Pendants
This pendant shape is a classic. The resulting pieces are smaller and more delicate - the smallest are perfect for earrings. Fill them with plain frit or use a combination of frit and dichroic flakes to create exceptional pieces that can be suspended from leather, rubber, silk, or metal cords. Because of the mold’s engineering, the pendants almost never require any cold work like grinding or polishing.
The pendants measure 0.8, 1, and 1.125 inches (20, 25, and 30 mm) wide. The mold itself measures 6 x 5 x 1 inches (15.2 x 13 x 2.5 cm). The fill weights are 11, 6, and 4 grams.
We either use Zyp or our Kiln Wash Sprayer to coat our texture and casting molds. We never use a brush! Use our Spray Shelter to prevent overspray when coating your molds.
