Tropical Fish
With each firing, this molds creates four, assorted tropical fish. Create a whole lagoon by varying frit colors. The fill weights are 32 to 36 grams for the large fish and 12 to 15 for the smaller fish. The mold measures 8-1/4” x 4-3/4” x 1”.
We suggest a cooler than usual firing temperature of about 1315-1335 (700-710ºC). All kilns are different, so always babysit your firings to make sure you will be happy with your results.
We either use Zyp or our Kiln Wash Sprayer to coat our texture and casting molds. We never use a brush! Use our Spray Shelter to prevent overspray when coating your molds.
